Wuhan China Fiba Asia Cup 2014: Gilas Pilipinas Successfully tasted Sweet Revevnge Against Chinese Taipei

Wuhan China - Fiba Asia Cup 2014 - Gilas Pilipinas made its first win against Chinese Taipei, 78-64, last Saturday July 12, 2014. The team made its sweet revenge against the Taiwanese  last year's loss for the Fiba Asia Championship campaign.

Paul Lee, Rain or Shine guard lead the squad and scoring 18 points at the end of the game.


On the 1st quarter, Gary David outscore Chinese Taipei garnering 6 points of 10-0 run.

Gilas Pilipias handled the 3rd quarter making 50-47 lead up to the final quarter.

With the ignition of Paul Lee, he fires a fresh 3 point at the start of the 4rt quarter plus a smashing 3 point with Gary David creating a 11-0 run against the Taiwanese landing into double digit lead, 65-54.

The team will face Singapore team on Monday then Jordan before wrapping up the preliminary round.
